The Hunter Valley

Situated 2 hours to the north of Sydney, the Hunter Valley is Australia's oldest established wine region, and synonymous with classic, quality Australian wines and superb local produce. Hunter Semillon has been described as "Australia's unique gift to the world", while its Shiraz wines are punchy enough to make an impact you'll remember for years.

A day in the Hunter is all about discovering great wine and food, with outstanding local produce and excellent Cellar Doors. With the first vines established in the 1830s there are now over 120 wineries and 60 restaurants to choose from.
